Founded in Hamburg in 1919, WISKA Hoppmann & Mulsow GmbH is still to this day an independent family company. With over 140 employees working here at our present headquarters in Kaltenkirchen, we develop and produce Cable Accessory Systems as well as Maritime Lighting & Electrical Equipment for an international clientele.
Our origins lie in shipbuilding. Ships throughout the world have been using WISKA products for over 90 years now. Meaning that the standards by which we develop our products have been set by the rugged conditions of life at sea. Our products have to be capable of withstanding mechanical stress and must reliably protect electrical installations from damp and dirt. So that power can flow without hindrance.
Safety and user-friendliness take top priority in electrical installation. That is why WISKA products meet the most stringent stability and seal requirements. Proving we have some knowledge of the electrical engineering, we also supply innovative products whose practical details make the work of installation not only safer, but faster. So our customers can save on time, that must valuable of their assets.
