Variable
The IP 68 plastic and brass cable glands provide a first-class seal, and are extremely versatile to work with because they can be combined with reducing seals, special-purpose seals or multiple seals in any material. The SPRINT range is well rounde-off with EMC inserts and a complete series of cable glands and accessories for explosionproof installations.
WISKA SPRINT units in polyamide are available ex works in RAL 7035 light grey, RAL 7001 silver grey and RAL 9005 black; brassunits are supplied nickel-plated. Other colours and materials - high-grade steel for example - can be provided on request.
Our comprehensive range of accessories can be used either with brass or with plastic cable glands. Items available include locknuts, dust guards, sealing closures, threaded sealing rings, insert reducing seals and sealing plugs. We have a wide variety of seal inserts for the practical connection of several cables through a single cable gland or for special-purpose cable types like ASI bus lines or flat-design heating cables.
Different sizes of EMC inserts can be fitted in the SPRINT system's brass clabel glands to provide electro-magnetically compatible installations, so the need to hold spearate stocks of specialised EMC cable glands is now a thing of the past.

Safe
WISKA's patented lamella system, which has proven its worth over a number of years, provides strain relief over the entire capacity of a plastic or brass cable gland. Our plastic cable glands as well as the clamping inserts of the brass glands are made of halogen-free polyamide as standard feature, permitting their use under extreme climatic conditions and offering high resistance to chemicals.
SPRINT cable glands provide IP 68 Protection class over the entire clamping range thanks to their special design and high-quality rubber seal. Robust, irreversible threads on cap nuts and glands prevent stripping under high torque and protect against vibration even under extreme conditions.
Just introduce the cable, screw tight, and the job is done! All in just the one operation, the cable is centered, fixed in place and locked against rotation. The enlarged surfaces of the cap nut permit easy pre-assembly by hand and precision mounting with the machinist's wrench.
